A Mustard Seed (Matthew 13:31-32)

Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed. Though it is the smallest of seeds, if cultivated into growth, the mustard seed becomes the largest plant in the garden. It grows to the size of a tree and offers shelter for the birds—some of nature's most delicate and beautiful creatures.

Sister Connection began in the hearts of two women. One who lost all her brothers to ethnic violence; another who lived among the people of Burundi and grew to love them. God planted a mustard seed when He gave these two women the vision for this ministry, and He brought growth. Now the widows of Burundi are beginning to find shelter in the branches of the mustard tree.

Be a Foundational Supporter

Sister Connection is committed to give 100 cents of every sponsorship dollar to the sponsored widow, withholding nothing for operational overhead. In order to do this, we need your help. We need you to partner with us as a Foundational Supporter. Every US director on our board is a Foundational Supporter of this ministry, in addition to sponsoring multiple widows.

A Foundational Supporter is an individual, couple, family, or group that commits to faithful monthly support of our operational expenses. Foundational Supporters are mustard seed cultivators. Your support of the operations of this organization enables us to maintain the strength of the tree branches that shelter our Burundian widows.
